Seleccion of architectural pictures from National Geographic

In the dry season this area is hot and dusty; during monsoon the place is transformed and these people, who live in stilted houses, can only get around by boat. This picture   of a great horned owl in an old house that has been in the wind for a lot of years has been  taken in  in Southern Alberta.
